A Day in the Life:-Audit Machinery Capabilities: Perform comprehensive audits of the capabilities of our CNC and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement.-Develop Training Documentation: Assist in creating detailed documentation and training materials for new machine operators to ensure consistent and safe operation of equipment.-Review and Improve Operations: Analyze current machine operations, recommend best practices, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality.-Support Projects: Assist with various engineering projects as needed (ex. AI research and its applications in manufacturing etc.), contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.-All other duties as required.
What You Bring:-Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary Engineering Program; preference will be given to candidates from industrial (and related) engineering programs.-Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize deadlines.-Excellent communication and problem solving skills.-Proficient with MS Office Suite.-Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and with CNC machines considered assets.
