QuinStreet is offering a paid, full-time co-op for Computer Engineering students. You will work 40 hours per week in our Foster City office from Aug-Dec or Sept-Dec. Since this will be a full time co-op, you will need to pause classes during this time and will earn co-op credit during this time. You will be working as a team to build a new application within our Financial Services team, where you’ll play a key role in development and testing the first version of this new platform, working alongside other interns and under the mentorship of experienced senior developers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a first gen and scalable application for an enterprise level organization.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of interns and senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain core features of our platform Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code across front-end and back-end systems Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups Contribute to quality assurance efforts through functional testing and debuggingRequirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Strong understanding of software development fundamentals Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Java, .Net, PHP, Python) Interest or experience in testing frameworks and CI/CD tools Ability to integrate with third-party APIs and troubleshoot integration issues Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to learn from peers and mentors Passion for building user-centric products with clean, efficient codeThe expected hourly range for this position is $30 hr USD. This hourly range is an estimate, and the actual hourly rate may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The hourly rate may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits.
