Engineering Co-Op

Key Responsibilities

Performs basic and routine support activities within the areas of Nuclear and Industrial Engineering, Manufacturability, and Continuous Improvement.

Assists with time study assignments, BOM creation and projects that the team is currently working on.

Familiarizes oneself with the functions of the department.

May present to Senior Leadership Team at the end of the internship.

Contributes valuable work through delivering against performance goals and assigned projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience

Typically working towards a bachelor’s degree in electrical, Nuclear, Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.


Knowledge and Skills

Possesses an understanding of basic Engineering principles, as well as some knowledge of the function related to the position.

Possesses an understanding of basic GD&T principles.

Possesses an understanding of SolidWorks, as well as some knowledge of the function related to the position.

Takes initiative and is intellectually curious.

Demonstrates effective written and oral communication.

Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.
