Job Summary

The Engineering Change Engineer's mission is to ensure the correct implementation of engineering changes to minimize the risk of quality problems with customers using the prescribed guidelines and procedures in analyzed situations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Validate and report the activities related to engineering changes and deviations from the process. On-site ECO's coordination (Approval tracking and Implementation)

Coordinate with FF Engineers the reception, manage, and implementation Engineering Changes. Including to run trials and validation process.

Maintain statistics analysis of detected deficiencies by type and frequency. Process/product Performance analysis base on DoE. Use analytics to drive strategic corrective action. Provide activity reports as required and provide problem-solving mentorship. Process/product Performance analysis base on DoE.

Identify and execute improvements that will make the change and configuration management process more efficient, reliable, and cost effective.

Skills

Engineering Change Management Experience (desirable)

Project Management experience and proper verbal and writing communication

Six sigma Lean Manufacturing knowledge, PFMEA, Statistical analysis, DoE, SPC, Measurement System Analysis (MSA)

Experience in Solving Problem / Troubleshooting Techniques (A3, 8D, DMAIC)

Experience on floor and manufacturing plant environment

Quality Management System

Experience in supporting and participation in continuous improvement events (Kaizen, six sigma, BSF's)
