From sourcing strategies to pallet management and packaging solutions, your leadership will drive efficiency across the supply chain.

Based in Batam, you’ll be part of a world-class manufacturing hub producing hydraulic shovels that power infrastructure and mining projects across the globe

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office. 

Travel Requirement: No

You will work in an office environment.

Domestic relocation is available for this position.

What You Will Do:

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Category Management, Operations, and Logistics teams to implement Engineering Changes, New Product Introductions (NPI), and New Source Introductions (NSI).

Develop and execute strategies for inventory replenishment and freight management to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Partner with the Packaging team to design and implement effective packaging solutions.

Coordinate with Master Planners to support outsourcing initiatives, including the establishment of blanket purchase orders and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.

Identify, lead, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain process.

Support customer engagement efforts by providing pricing insights and supplier selection.

Ensure the integrity and functionality of supply chain application systems through ongoing maintenance and oversight.

What Skills You Have:

Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.

Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.

Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

What Will Set You Apart:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain.

Experience:

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in product change control, engineering change management, or supply chain operations.

Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is highly preferred.

Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in English.

Strong understanding of Engineering Change Notification (ECN) processes and New Product Implementation (NPI) workflows.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain applications.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, sourcing strategies, replenishment planning, change management, and packaging solutions.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):

This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
