Engineering Associate (2nd Shift)
As an Engineering Associate, you will support the Assembly Value Streams in the completion of valve assembly work orders by providing engineering and technical support in the resolution of issues that arise during the assembly process. We look forward to seeing your application!   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Understand assembly requirements, create new instructions and teach assemblers in the proper assembly techniques. Provide engineering support during the assembly plus coordinate communication with the product engineering group when necessary. Properly document non-conformances and follow-up on the correction of non-conforming parts or assemblies. Provide support for ValveLink, Flowscan and Anti-Surge testing and diagnostics in the pilot mounting process. Support the customer witness activity. Manage the accurate completion of CSP/ATR requirements Develop quality and efficiency improvement methods. Continuously identify safety improvement opportunities and implement safe practices. Provide coverage for direct Supervisors in their absence. Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need: 5 years’ of manufacturing experience. Experience in manufacturing with strong understanding of assembly techniques. Proven communication skills both written and verbal to all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and planning skills. Strong PC skills with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Strong problem solving and data analysis skills. Self-management skills; motivated to action. Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering Strong Fisher product knowledge including processes, procedures and organization Direct experience with ValveLink and Flowscan operational testing. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities/tasks simultaneously Initiative in problem solving and facilitating change Dedication to finding and implementing root cause solutions Lean Manufacturing, Synchronous Flow, SMED and TPM practices a plus Able to work in a team environment Familiarity with business system work reporting a plus  Our Culture & Commitment to You:
