Job Position:  Engineering Assistant – Current Product Engineering

Department: Manufacturing Engineering

Primary Job Purpose:

Sustain and improve product Quality, Delivery, and CostProvide Product Failure Analysis for warranty, assembly plant returns, and line pullsParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesParticipate in cost reduction initiativesIdentify root causes of product problems accurately and promptly.Analyse low test yield problems swiftly.Verify and analyse customer returns accurately and timely.Work with the people in other disciplines to resolve product problems.

Formal education and experience

Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalentHigher Nitec/ Nitec with 3 years’ relevant experienceProduct failure analytical skillsExperience in measurement and failure analysis equipmentProblem-solving skills

Reports To: Manager, Current Product Engineering
