Job Description
This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting the development of cost reduction and optimization actions for current model Lincoln vehicles. The role involves co-leading the identification and prioritization of actions along with Lincoln Marketing and Design teams. Responsibilities span all systems with the potential to grow into future model vehicles.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and support cost reduction and optimization actions for Lincoln vehicles.Co-lead identification and prioritization of actions with Lincoln Marketing and Design teams.Develop a list of actions to achieve vehicle-level tasks.Gain cross-functional agreement to proceed with actions.Ensure actions are consistent across the Lincoln family.Lead and manage special product development projects as they arise.Essential SkillsKnowledge of automotive development processes.Ability to review data and draw conclusions.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Understanding of timing plans and basic business cases.General knowledge of product management and deliverables timing.Clear and effective communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations, meeting agendas, and minutes.Additional Skills & QualificationsPassion for optimization, problem-solving, and strategy development.Cross-functional knowledge of a vehicle including systems and subsystems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills for clear and concise communication.Experience in project coordination, sourcing, and cost analysis.Work Environment
This role requires working onsite for 4 days a week starting September 1st, with the possibility of returning to 5 days depending on leadership direction. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring interaction with various cross-functional teams.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
