Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Engineering Aide. In this role, you will:
•Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews. • Performing as a Data Transfer Agent (DTA). •Manage Technical Impact Assessments / Peer Reviews and ensure team members are aware of design changes that could affect them.
•Generating engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schedules.
• Support the team’s Project Engineer (Action item tracking, schedule (IMS) support, Customer requests tracking, proposal coordination). • Facilitate Meetings / CVTC coordination.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of:

•Manufacturing design experience or education. •Zuken schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tool (or similar) centered in model-based engineering. • Proficient with using the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
•Associates degree in a STEM related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
•Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Preferred Candidates will have 3 Years of experience.
• Manufacturing design experience or education. • Experience in using Zuken schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tool (or similar) centered in model-based engineering.
• Collate with subsystems, survivability, environmental, and other specialty engineers to develop unique cables for various space products. • Proficient with using the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
•Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision. •Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
