Job Description Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel! Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. To ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel/convention environment. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: + Daily cleaning of the pool, hot tub, and fountains in the hotel. + Maintain safe and correct water chemistry levels in all water features. + Maintain all mechanical equipment including heaters, filters, pumps and controllers associated with pools, spas, and fountains. + Maintain correct stock/inventory of pool chemicals and communicate when replenishment is needed. + Respond to all requests. + Assist engineers and mechanics as needed with repairs. + Keep all work areas clean. + Fill out your daily work form. + Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.  + Must be familiar with Omni's systems and procedures. + Be familiar with computer-based building automation systems. + Maintain house music levels at the spa, pool deck, and fitness center Qualifications Qualifications: + CPO Certification is required + Knowledge of all pool equipment and water chemistry. + Must be willing to work based on business and occupancy levels.   + Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.   + Must be able to interact and communicate with the hotel guests.   + Move, bend, lift, carry, crawl, squat, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.   + Must work indoors and outdoors including during extreme weather conditions.  + May be asked to be part of “ride-out” crew during severe weather events  + Must be able to work using ladders, scissors, and aerial lifts.  Physical Requirements: + Wear personal protective equipment when required. + Move, bend, lift, carry, crawl, squat, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift. + Must be able to work at heights utilizing ladders, scissors, and aerial lifts. Working Environment: + Exposure to various hazardous chemicals. + Must work indoors and outdoors including extreme weather environments. + May be asked to be a part of “ride out” crew during severe weather events.
