Engineer -Test and Quality M/F Company : Safran Electronics & Defense Job field : Testing Location : Bangalore , India Contract type : Permanent Contract duration : Full-time Required degree : Bachelor's Degree Required experience : More than 3 years Professional status : Professional, Engineer & Manager \# 2025-151615 Apply with one click Any questions ? **Job Description** Job Tittle : Engineer -Test and Quality Education : B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics& Communication or Instrumentation Experience : 2-3 Years Job location : Bangalore Job Role : • Analyze user requirements, test specifications, and functional documents of System. • Define and communicate test scope, acceptance criteria and test objectives in coordination with customers and stakeholders • Manage and maintain the test plan with hardware/software requirements, dependencies and constraints. • Prepare and update test cases, reports, and traceability matrices. • Perform functional, Non functional, integration, System, regression and acceptance testing • Validate hardware-software interactions in ATE setups (e.g., signal generation, data acquisition). • Identify, document, and report bugs, issues, anomalies in the system and tracking. • Collaborate with developers to ensure defect resolution and conduct root cause analysis • Work with test and measurement Systems. • Provide feedback on system performance, usability, and reliability. • Perform extensive regression tests and tests on new features. • Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures • Ensure adherence to aerospace/defense industry standards Mandatory Skills : • Ability to design, document, and execute test cases based on system requirements. • Experience in Manual Testing • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, defect tracking, and ATE validation. • Proficiency in logging, tracking, and reporting defects • ISTQB/Testing certified. • Testing for Safety Critical Real Time Embedded Systems and Application Software Desired Skills: • Exposure to DGAQA/CEMILAC for Quality Assurance/Certification • UI/UX certification • Familiarity with NI LabVIEW or TestStand for test automation in ATE environments. • If working with RF ATE, knowledge of RF parameters, signal generators, and network analyzers. • Exposure with Data Acquisition Systems (DAQs) • Experience in DO-178 B and IMTAR-21,JSS/JSG standards **Company Information** Safran is an international high-technology group, operating in the aviation (propulsion, equipment and interiors), defense and space markets.
