Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Structural to a supervision project in Dubai. In this role, you will oversee and manage structural engineering aspects of new internal roads and the rehabilitation  of existing roads.

 

Job Duties

Supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sitesConduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans and quality standardsCollaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issuesFollow up set inspection for installations and review inspector’s performance on a regular basis.Update progress for all assigned works to the project manager to include in his reportsReview updated records that would form as built recordsCheck and coordinate for all assigned servicesCoordinate with Head office (Design) for all material reviews and design queriesImplement and maintain quality control procedures for structural elementsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team membersParticipate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and address concerns

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred)Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certificationMinimum 12 years of experience in structural engineering and supervision, preferably in the construction industryProficiency in structural analysis software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or similar toolsStrong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAEExcellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skillsExceptional technical report writing and communication abilitiesExperience in managing large-scale construction projectsIn-depth understanding of building materials, methods, and quality control processesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to travel to various project sites within the UAE
