The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor._ **Job Duties:** Provide supervision and technical support to contract administration and design personnel on bridge/highway construction projects. Administer assigned construction projects by accomplishing required construction engineering and contract administration duties, including supervising assigned MnDOT employees. **Minimum Qualifications** + Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design(AELSLAGID). (If obtaining licensure through Comity, a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.) **Preferred Qualifications** + Knowledge and experience in materials, road/bridge contract administration and general construction practices. + Previous supervisory or leadwork experience of paraprofessional construction engineering work and skills sufficient to ensure construction projects are completed in a timely manner. + Experience negotiating with contractors and writing change orders. **Additional Requirements** This position requires successful completion of the following: Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and criminal history checks.
