Engineer / Senior Engineer - Sales

Job Summary:

As Engineer/ Senior Engineer Regional sales you will handle the Eastern region to plan strategies and resources to deliver monthly sales targets and to explore new sales opportunities in the region.
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• This role pertains to Eastern India geographical area (Bengal, Jamshedpur, Orissa, North east) of Industry Verticals & Natural Gas
• Financial: Set, own, and achieve bookings, sales targets for the region handled.
• Sales Management: Plan strategies and resources to deliver monthly sales targets. Build positive relationships with the top management of sales channels. Conduct periodical reviews and set objectives.
• Sales Planning: Closely work with Operations and Projects teams to forecast orders and help in advance planning of materials and inventories.
• Project Pursuit: Identify key projects to win and enter early to implement winning strategies. Build excellent collaboration with the India PMO team.
• Strategic Initiatives: Develop critical initiatives to enhance business from EPC’s, Various end users in Refineries, Steel plants, Fertilizer industries etc. City Gas Companies, Gas Transmission Companies and LPG Distributors.
• Sales Promotion: Coordinate focused customer exchange events. Build positive relationships at multiple levels with key customers.
• Customer Service: Work closely with the Service team to address customer issues and ensure timely resolution. Call out issues to Asia Pacific team were vital. Grow lifecycle services business in collaboration with LCS manager.
• You quickly and significantly act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse partners. You always keep the end in sight; puts in extra effort to meet timelines. You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. You observe situational and group dynamics and select best-fit approach.

For This Role, You Will Need:


• Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in Sales Management and Business Development.
• Critical Thinking and Long-Term Planning Capabilities
• Effective communication capabilities, and ability to influence others
• Good presentation skills
• To understand the products, applications, and markets. To grasp the business dynamics and assess driven field.
• To develop sales strategies combining direct and indirect selling. To position Regulator Technologies as a preferred partner to customers.
• To propose and implement long-term growth plans.
• To convince customers on the solutions offered.
• To make presentations to customers, Regulator higher management, etc.
 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:


• Degree or add equivalent experience in Engineering.
• Knowledge on similar products will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in English, Hindi and Bengali is preferred.
