The Engineer Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the **design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team** . The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks. **Qualifications:** + **5-8 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role** + **Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment** + **Project Management experience** + Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication + Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices + Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills + Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams + Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative + Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements + Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement **Responsibilities:** + **Database support for critical database systems like Postgres, Mongo, Oracle etc.** + **Caching database support for Redis and/or Couchbase** + **Monitor and address database alerts/issues, capacity constraints, and performance related items.** + Working experience on public cloud + Understanding & implementation of **GenAI** and relevant use cases + **Good UNIX scripting and automation experience** + Knowledge of automation tools like ANSIBLE and automation scripting / fixing - Desirable + Fully analyze performance issues, identify tuning opportunities and advise developers on SQL tuning options. + Interact and communicate with application developers and support teams to understand and articulate. + Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service + Follow-the-Sun 24*7 on call support model **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Technology ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Systems & Engineering ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** Irving Texas United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $96,400.00 - $144,600.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
