Plant Engineering in Indianapolis Device Assembly and Manufacturing is responsible for maintaining the site’s facility infrastructure including buildings, HVAC, GMP utilities, steam, water, sewer and other utility systems to a state of compliance. It must assure that facilities and related infrastructure are fit for use when needed, maintenance and reliability techniques are efficient and effective, and appropriate corrective and improvement actions are taken when necessary. Plant Engineering is also responsible for the efficient and effective management of local capital for their assets and oversight of engineering/maintenance contract resources.
Responsible for delivering facilities expansions, retrofits, developing the scope of the project, gaining management buy in, providing clear concise communication, working with outside construction firms.
The Plant Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining the reliable operation and qualified state of the equipment and business processes in the areas they support. This includes HVAC, Utilities, and ancillary systems (i.e.- pest control) associated within their facilities. The Plant Engineer ensures that equipment is in-control, compliant, and capable of meeting customer needs, while also driving associated continuous improvement initiatives.
The Plant Engineer receives direction from the senior engineer. The Plant Engineer is responsible for prioritizing and coordinating the work of the Engineering Tech. The Plant Engineer ensures that FRAP guidance is followed.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$64,500 - $167,200Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
