Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Planning - Marine to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating marine engineering projects, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with maritime regulations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets for marine engineering projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project workflows and ensure timely completion of deliverablesAnalyze project requirements and create detailed engineering plans for marine vessels and offshore structuresUtilize CAD software to prepare technical drawings and specifications for marine systemsConduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for marine engineering projectsEnsure compliance with local and international maritime safety regulations and standardsCoordinate with shipyards, suppliers, and contractors to facilitate project executionMonitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as neededPrepare and present technical reports and project status updates to stakeholdersContinuously improve planning processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and project outcomesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine engineering or related field, with a focus on project planning and coordinationProficiency in project management software and CAD applications (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles, vessel design, and offshore structuresFamiliarity with maritime safety regulations and industry standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational abilities and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProfessional Engineer (PE) certification preferredWillingness to travel to project sites as requiredAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
