Key Responsibilities and Skills:
+ Troubleshooting:
Solving network issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions using Juniper devices and technologies.
+ Implementation:
Configuring and deploying Juniper devices and solutions, ensuring they meet network requirements.
+ Support:
Providing technical support to internal teams and customers, addressing questions and resolving problems.
+ Network Knowledge:
Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), network security concepts, and Juniper-specific technologies.
+ Juniper-Specific Expertise:
Experience with Juniper devices like ScreenOS and JUNOS, understanding of network management tools (FCAPS, SNMP), and experience with scripting (Shell, Python).
+ Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Problem-Solving:
Ability to analyze complex network problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
+ Customer Interaction:
Working with customers to understand their network needs and provide solutions.
+ Continuous Learning:
Staying updated on the latest Juniper technologies and trends.
+ Experience: Typically 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Juniper technologies.
+ Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
+ Certifications: Juniper certifications (JNCIA-J, JNCIE-ENT, etc.) are often a plus.
