About the job

·       Inspect plastic, sheet metal, and machined components and subassemblies according to the design records / drawings.

·       Conduct measurements following GD&T standards as per ISO 8015 and ASME Y14.5.

·       Hands-on in Mitutoyo Crysta-Apex C574 MCOSMOS-2 CMM or Zeiss Contour G2 CALYPSO 7.2 CMM and Mitutoyo Active 202 QV QVPAK for profile measurements.

·       Have hands-on experience with conventional measuring equipment and select the appropriate measurement instrument based on dimensional specifications.

·       Acknowledge measurement requests and prioritize tasks according to urgency.

·       Conduct a statistical process capability study and analyze the results.

·       Troubleshoot any measurement errors that arise, identify the root cause, and propose an action plan.

·       Ensure measurement turnaround times are met and deliver error-free reports.

·       Maintain accuracy and precision in measurement inspection reports.

Required skills

·       CMM programing

·       SPC, MSA study

·       GD&T ISO8015 or ASME Y14.5 standards

·       I2P / 8D Problem Solving

·       Good English verbal and written communication skills

·       Proficient in Microsoft excel, power point and word.

Experience

·       1 to 3 years of experience in metrology lab

·       Experience working as an individual contributor.

·       Knowledge on supply chain, logistics & purchasing is a plus.

              B.E Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication or Diploma equivalent
