Engineer (Mechanical) Job Locations SG-Singapore ID 2025-15299 Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team.  As a member of the operations team, the Senior Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.  The engineer positions must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

 

Location: Tuas, Singapore

 

Responsibilities Responsible for routine mechanical test such as Tensile, Hardness, Charpy and Bend TestPerform critical facture mechanics test such as CTOD, SENT, Rebar FatiguePerform correstion test such as G48, ASTM A262, G28,SSC, HIC and etcEnsure smooth day-to-day operations, resolving exigencies such as urgent requirementsCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and applicable laws Skills / Qualifications Possess a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalentMinimum of 3 years’ pertinent post-degree engineering experience, or advanced academic/professional qualificationsWorking knowledge of laboratory safetyIn-depth understanding of testing concepts and familiar with international and local code & standards such as ASTM, BS, AWS, ASME, DNV, ABS, AS and other testing standardsPossess a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business
