Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Material Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Material Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and improving materials used in various products and manufacturing processes.

Conduct comprehensive material analysis and testing to evaluate properties, performance, and qualityDevelop and optimize materials to meet specific product requirements and performance criteriaCollaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and improve product designsInvestigate material failures and provide recommendations for improvementsDesign and implement new testing methodologies to enhance material evaluation processesAnalyze data and prepare detailed technical reports on material properties and performanceStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in materials science and engineeringEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulations in material selection and usageMentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's knowledge baseParticipate in project planning and execution, adhering to schedules and budgets

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldProfessional engineering registration (specific to UAE if applicable)Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials engineering or a related fieldProficiency in materials testing equipment, CAD software, and data analysis toolsStrong knowledge of material properties, testing methods, and manufacturing processesFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to materials engineeringExcellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesProven experience in team leadership and mentoring junior engineersExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environmentExperience with project management and adherence to schedules and budgetsContinuous learning mindset to stay updated with advancements in materials science
