How will you make an impact?

You will be part of an ambitious team working on infrastructure management and improving systems reliability. Your efficient contribution will help the business and the company to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

What will you do?

Provide L3 operational support for Windows infrastructure that resides on physical, virtual, and cloud environments.Manage the service management work queue to address customer requests within the established service level agreements.Participate in the on-call rotation with other team members to ensure support coverage for the global Windows infrastructure.Find opportunities to improve the infrastructure by implementing the standards set by the Global Systems Reliability team.Ensure the highest possible level of server uptime and availability by proactively identifying and fixing infrastructure-related problems.Participate in infrastructure upgrades, improvements, and maintenance activities.Implement automation to improve efficiency.

How will you get here?

Education

B.Tech/ B.E in Computer Science or equivalent required.

Experience

6+ years’ experience in Windows Server OS Administration3+ years L3 Infrastructure Operational Support experience3+ years’ experience with VMWare Virtualization/AWS Cloud infrastructure management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proficiency in Windows Server OS AdministrationProficiency in VMware Virtualization/Cloud technologiesExperience with scripting and automationExperience working with geographically distributed teams.A mentality geared towards constant process improvement through standard methodologies for security and cost-effectivenessAbility to work in a team structure, make decisions, tackle problems, analyze, plan, coordinate and prioritize work.Excellent oral and written communication skills to present technical information to both business and technology teams with clarity and precision.
