Put your toes in the sand and soak in the sun on 200 feet of private beachfront. As was the norm in the early iterations of Florida hotels, Beachcomber's rooms all open up to a lush courtyard featuring tropical gardens, pools and endless spots to relax in the shade. No matter where you are, at the Beachcomber, you're always just steps from the beach and within earshot of live music emanating from our legendary beach bar, Jimmy B's! Overview The Beachcomber is making its legendary return—and we’re searching for an experienced Engineer III to help bring it all to life. This is a hands-on role for a professional who is skilled in HVAC, electrical, and general building systems, and who takes pride in keeping operations running seamlessly. As an Engineer III, you’ll play a key role in supporting complex projects—from preventive maintenance programs to special reopening initiatives—ensuring our property is guest-ready and operating at its best. Qualifications 3–5+ years of hotel, resort, or facility engineering experience. Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. A proactive problem solver with leadership skills and a teamwork mindset. Flexibility to adapt—because no two days are the same at a beachfront resort. Ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
