Use and maintain and create calibration procedures and measurement systems on tested/measurement equipment in compliance with internal and ISO 13485 requirements **Key Responsibilities:** + To plan, communicate and keep the calibration calendar (plan) + Ensure all tests and measurement pieces of equipment are calibrated till due to the calibration date + To perform in-house calibration and send equipments to outside for external calibration and performing the calibration check + To maintain and label the different calibration status for all tested and measurement equipment + To segregate non-conforming equipment and overdue equipment per requirements + To handle all non-conforming process via quality system (TW) + To implement related test and inspection methods if applicable + To participate on project activities with other departments and outside vendors + To communicate effectively amongst a cross-function team of Engineers and technicians + To interact with other technicians, Customer Service Representatives, other managers, and customers + To negotiate time window together with production to have machines available + To archive all document and keep them available at all time and in compliance with GDP + To ensure compliance to all GMPs + To develop calibration procedures and methods + To collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration and enter repair and calibration data into calibration database system + To identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc + To identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable + To control the calibration reports and certificates + To perform uncertainty evaluation and analysis for measurement standards and associated measurement processes + To inform users if needed and owners of equipments in calibration concepts and procedures + To interact with other technicians, Customer Service Representatives, other managers, and customers + To maintain software into measurement equipments + To ensure all measurements equipment are used the correct way in compliance with sofvare specification/ability + To ensure the valid test methods are uploaded into measurement equipment in QA Laboratory with the correct acceptance criteria + To be an admin for all measuring equipment in QA Laboratory with the software + To participate in the new software validation on the new measurement equipment in QA Laboratory if needed + Responsibility for ownership (like all employees on site) during all audits (internal, Corporate, External, for Quality, Environment, etc…) + To ensure compliance with the legislative and internal requirements of the EHS and to participate in the fulfillment of the company's targets in the EHS area **Skills & Experience:** + Experience as a Calibration Technician or with software validation (preferred) + Intermediate ability to troubleshoot repair, align and optimize precision equipment + Knowledge of Quality Management system and regulatory requirements + Flexibility, team work, active approach to work + Customer and Quality focus + Strong technical skills and work ethic + Must be a self-motivator, work as a team player, and follow written procedures + Must have great interpersonal and customer service skills + Strong attention to details + Must possess good written and oral, communication skills + Ability to work in a cross functional structure **Qualifications/Education:** + Minimum Secondary school education + Precision measurement equipment laboratory (PMEL) or test measurement diagnostic equipment (TMDE) training/experience (preferred) + Must be able to perform general math and algebra functions and understanding of Basic Statistics technics + Technical writing ability + Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook Preferred training requirements: + Introduction training for administrative employees + Quality System documents and procedures relevant to all employees (local and Convatec corporate e.g. Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Quality Policy, Complaints, relevant GxP documents), including regular re-training when required + Quality System documents and procedures relevant to job performance **Principal Contacts & Purpose of Contact** Internal – Multiple roles.
