This position involves spearheading Operational Excellence projects and spearheading ongoing enhancement initiatives throughout the facility. Implement BOS at Baxter Haina and foster a culture of continuous improvement through kaizen events, while delivering Lean tools and problem-solving training. Advocate for the standardization and enhancement of existing processes to boost quality and overall efficiency. Manage the MIP program and VSM processes. Lead ongoing enhancements at the plant and conduct capacity planning for current or new processes.
Responsibilities:Identify manufacturing problems and respond to production requests for assistance.Implement appropriate process or manufacturing techniques as per project requests.Support the strategy and growth team in transferring new processes or products from concept/design stages through introduction into manufacturing.Apply BOS or equivalent experience approach at Haina plant, advocating and implementing programs and projects rooted in Lean principles and Lean-Sigma, incorporating innovative ideas to enhance business performance.Support and/or lead Kaizen events.Follow up and control key daily indicators such as OEE, efficiency, and conversion loss.Perform standard cost revision and improve utilization of resources (line/machine layouts, direct and indirect labor, equipment, space) using process improvement projects under supervision.Establish accurate labor standards using time studies.Engage in the budget and forecast execution to predict capacity constraints and/or excess, and raise as necessary.Lead capacity analysis and projects at the manufacturing level, contributing to the Capacity Plans by identifying Capacity requirements early enough to account for resource procurement lead times.Provide regular management reports, including current usage of resources, trends, and forecasts, taking into consideration upcoming strategies.Implement major Value Improvement Projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Haina plant MIP program.Interact with regional groups and other international facilities as needed.Identify, evaluate, and recommend changes in processes, procedures, and equipment for ergonomics compliance.Manage project creation, organization, and completion. Coordinate employees, set deadlines, update executives, and adjust for new requirements.Foster manufacturing operations improvement through the design of processes and systems to boost quality and productivity. This encompasses converting lines to cell manufacturing, introducing visual management techniques, establishing pull systems, implementing stop and fix procedures, creating standard work sheets, defining labor utilization standards, conducting capacity analyses for existing and new process transfers, and addressing ergonomics.Education and/or experience:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.Full computer proficiency (MS package, MS Project).2-5 years of experience in a related field (business excellence, process, projects, and others).Preferred Green Belt Certified or Lean related certifications.Equal Employment Opportunity
