**12900BR** **Title:** Engineer II, Environmental Health & Safety - CR **Job Description:** This Engineer must use Engineering/Technical skills and knowledge of engineering/scientific concepts, procedures, standards, and industry awareness to create and maintain multi-systems and programs, This individual will be in charge to maintain, implement and complete EHS management system, clean room projects and activities leading EHS efforts and processes to impact EHS within the facility. Job duties: + Complete internal and external EHS Compliance reports and data analysis. + Develop and present training packages and matrix. + Lead investigations of EHS incidents implementing systemic actions when required. + Lead plant EHS self-assessments and/or cross-audits. + Support EHS regulatory inspections with outside agencies which will include, but not limited to Tokio Marine, National Insurance Institute, Ministry of Health, Terumo Corp. + Support the EHS integrated management system compliance including ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 requirements. + Provide technical assistance and guidance to plant by, leading safety committee team and meetings. + Define and establish EHS meetings with the Core Teams, following up actions required, and help needed. + Implement and maintain site EHS programs for Clean Room operations, such as Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety, Control of Hazardous Energies, Pre start-up safety review, Radiation Safety, Equipment Design and Chemical Safety. + Track and improve safety indicators (first aid, recordable and days away rates), including proactive indicators. + Support site Clinic with data collection, cases management and data analysis. + Support Emergency and Industrial Hygiene Programs for Clean Room Operations. **Auto req ID:** 12900BR **Location:** Alajuela, Costa Rica **Department Name:** 3205-Costa Rica Indirect **Qualifications:** 1. Bachelor’s degree in EHS studies or related field. 2. Three to five (3 to 5) years of related experience. 3. Experience as Mechanical Engineer/Technician or related field is preferred. 4. Experience in the medical industry is preferred. 5. Proficient computer skills. 6. Minimum English Level 60% **Desired Qualifications** 1. Ability to work closely with Engineers and Supervisors. 2. Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills. 3. Ability to self-direct. 4.
