Engineer I Procurement

By joining us as an Engineer I, Procurement, you will be responsible for supporting strategic sourcing and procurement activities which include facilitation of eSourcing activities, contract management, alternate sourcing, and risk assessment of component parts. You will provide analytics support to the team for short and long-term project and metrics monitoring. By working with multi-functional teams, you will be identifying and developing processes and procedures to reduce cost using internal data collection and analytical tool.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Apply analytical skills in generating reports and presentations. Manage supply chain systems and databases. Demonstrate and effectively apply alternate sourcing skills to source potential substitute parts to avoid supply disruption. Focus on improving the business operation by introducing new innovative processes or by engaging in continuous improvement of current processes or activities. Ensure standard operating procedures are in place and always up to date.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Electronics and Communications, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or Business-related courses. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Sourcing or Manufacturing. Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities. Knowledgeable in environmental legislations (e.g., ROHS, REACH, etc.). Fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain. Basic understanding of procurement systems and tools (ERP, MRP, SRM).
