Position Summary
As part of the Process Development team within the Electrophysiology group, the Engineer I will be responsible for creating robust and sustainable manufacturing processes for medical components and devices. As an Engineer I, you will be responsible for development of processes from development to production by working cross-functionally with an engineering team located both in Fridley, MN and Costa Rica.
What you'll do everyday:
Participate in the execution of the process design, development, and validation activities for medical devices through the product development process.Able to determine solutions for problems, process selection decisions, and technical challenges.Use process characterization skills and tools such as Design on Experiments (DOE), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and statistics to make data driven decisions.Leverage engineering studies to demonstrate technical rationale for associated decision.Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians and operators to solve technical problems.Other duties assigned as required.
What we're looking for:
Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000 based upon a full-time schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible, with a target bonus of 10% of base salary depending on company and individual performance. Our total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
