AECOM is seeking a "Engineer - Highways" to be based in South Africa's Enterprise Capabilities office in "Cape Town". This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. Job DescriptionPreparation and management geometric design models and drawings for roads and other road related structuresPreparation and management of road geometric designs and drawings, reports, bill of quantities3D design and modelling of roads and associated infrastructureApplying the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all workKnowledge of Geometric Design Codes, Drainage Design Codes and other relevant standards will be a benefit

QualificationsDegree in Civil EngineeringHigh competency and specialist design and 3D modelling of roads and associated infrastructureMinimum of four years’ experience in the design and modelling of roads, and associated infrastructureProficiency in AutoCad, Civil3D, MicroStation, OpenRoadsGood knowledge of the SANRAL and Western Cape Provincial Governments design procedures will be a benefitExperience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourableExperienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise
