skilled Engineer (electrical bias desired but not essential) to support the production and site. Hourly salary between £19.08 - £20.14 (pre overtime)
Currently the shift is operating from Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 based on a 40 -hour working week. The Engineers are on a grading system which is skill dependant and will be discussed upon inquiry.
20 days basic holiday entitlement + the 8 bank holidays
Dunbia use NEST as the pension provider with auto enrolment at the 3-month point.
Overtime is payable after 40 hours at a premium rate.
There is a call out rota which is generally one week in 4. This is paid at a premium rate.
We offer additional training to support Engineers in developing their skill set.
Responsibilities Ensuring plant equipment is operating and functioning correctlyProven Electrical / mechanical knowledgeBuilding maintenance.Stainless Steel fabrication TIG Welding an advantageMaintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purposeContinually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriateCompleting daily maintenance check sheets and job card. Qualifications Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail, commitment and the ability to accept responsibility are key in this role.Will be committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.Food industry experience is advantageous.Comfortable working at height.INDMP
