Engineer  

Purpose of Role
As a Quality Engineer you will be supporting the Weir Minerals Netherlands business unit for Quality Engineer of Positive displacement pumps and Grinding machines.

Your day-to-day job will be to work on quality related specifications in projects. These specifications need to be translated and communicated into requirements towards suppliers and manufacturing inspection test plans.

Understanding of managing a service to customers at agreed levels of service and quality standards, including the tools, methods and procedures used in the service.Create Manufacturing data Handbook for the product delivered to customerCreate Inspection Test Plan as per Venlo StandardsWork with Project Engineers / independently in resolving document issues with customers or suppliersCreate and revise technical documents to the customerExecute projects as per defined quality, on time delivery & schedule.

Job Knowledge & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering required with at least 3 years’ experience as Quality documentation engineerHands on experience in SAPExperience with Microsoft tool and Acrobat toolsBasic knowledge and ability to read , interpret on welding standards and processUnderstanding of  document control system, such as SharePoint or PLM, to ensure they meet project requirements.Proactive and good communication skills
