Our Cyber Security Platform and Tooling team manages and safeguards the cloud security infrastructure while providing expert guidance on security posture and best practices. THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager of Security Platform and Tooling, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of passionate information security professionals. The Security Platform and Tooling Team maintains and evolves the platforms and tools that power Live Nation’s monitoring and detection capabilities, while embedding security into platforms from the ground up. By leading with a security-first mindset, the team enhances visibility, reduces risk, and strengthens the company’s overall security posture.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Engineer and maintain internal infrastructure, tools and automation that enhance the Cyber Security Team’s mission of protecting LNE and it’s subsidiaries’ environments. Develop, test, and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve reliability, security, and delivery speed.Focus on system integrations that improve upon organizational value and security such as identifying wasted data transfer costs and working lower or eliminate them.Partner across stakeholders, joint ventures, and enterprise teams to provide guidance and leadership in implementing security-by-design solutions.Onboard new data sources and sinks by designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable streaming pipelines. This includes integrating with diverse upstream producers (e.g., Kafka, S3, APIs) and downstream consumers (e.g., databases, cloud storage, analytics platforms).Stay current with emerging security and data engineering technologies to recommend improvements that strengthen the LNE Cyber Security Team’s capabilities.WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Helm, Terraform, Ansible) preferredExpertise with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Openshift, EKS)Strong experience with one or more programming languages/frameworks (Python, Java, Javascript/NodeJS/React, or Go) preferredExperience with secure cloud design and platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure).Working knowledge of metrics and observability (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, InfluxDb)Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance capabilities, costs, and security requiredPrevious experience with SIEM,SOAR, XDR, EDR solutions (specifically event identification and routing) requiredPrevious experience with vulnerability management solutions.Experience with Java or Apache Flink within data processing contexts.Knowledge of database design and Postgres extensions (e.g., pgvector).Experience with data streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS) nice to haveFamiliarity with designing and supporting data lakes (AWS Security Lake, DataBricks) nice to haveCertifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC (e.g., GCIA, GCIH), or vendor-specific credentials are highly valued and demonstrate commitment to the craft, but they are not required for consideration.BENEFITS & PERKS

The expected compensation for this position is:
$96,000.00 USD - $120,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
