Data Integration services team is part of EIT - Shared Services Organization and is responsible for managing multiple integration platforms and integration artifacts across the organization. The team is focused on managing platforms and delivering data movement and data transformation solutions to support business critical operations and analytics.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates subject matter expertise in multiple integration technologies (Confluent Kafka as primary, Dell Boomi, MQ, IIB and IBM DataStage optional) and Microservice technologyDemonstrates knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, SAP HANA, etc.).Demonstrate leadership capabilities in designing, developing, and successful implementation of enterprise scale integration solutionsProvide thought leadership to drive or establish architecture patterns to build highly available systems and integrations to support business critical applications.Demonstrates expertise with Google Cloud Platform along with Kubernetes and other Cloud platforms like AWS.Demonstrates willingness to learn new products/technologies and is an effective team player.Demonstrates experience in ARGO CD and CICD pipeline creation/deployment using ARGO CD and terraform.Demonstrates knowledge in configuring clustered environment. Implement systems including fault tolerance and high availability solutions.Demonstrates knowledge of application design patterns with Confluent Kafka and Microservice Architecture.Experience with one or more programing languages (Java/J2EE, Shell/Perl/ Python scripting) is expected.Communicate effectively with various cross functional and technology teams (app dev, deployment, testing, project).Ability to define work processes and lead team members in successful implementationDemonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications / Skills Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experienceOverall 6+ years of experience with various Data Integration technologies like Confluent Kafka, IBM DataStage, Dell Boomi, Attunity, MQ or IIB is preferred.3+ years working with different relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, SAP HANA, etc.)5+ years of IT experience working with Kafka DevelopmentWorking with different open-source products/services related to Integration, Messaging, or API management technologies3+ years of Cloud experienceExperience with Code, Configuration and Build management tools such as GIT, Concourse, along with Terraform, Nitro DX, ARGO CD is preferred.In-depth knowledge of all functionalities of Confluent kafka and MicroservicesExperience in GKE , Kubernetes, ARGO CD , Terraform and agile tools is required.Operating Systems: Windows and LinuxWhat is expected of you and others at this level
