We’re hiring a Workday Prism Data Warehouse Engineer to design, build, and maintain the architecture of our Workday Prism data warehouse, supporting People Analytics and Store Operations. This role will partner closely with stakeholders across HR, Stores, and Digital & Tech to model data, optimize performance, and deliver trusted insights at scale. Ideal candidates bring strong experience in SQL, data modeling, and Workday Prism, along with a passion for scalable architecture, clean data, and impactful reporting.
What Will You Be Doing?
Data Warehouse Design: Design and develop the architecture of the Workday Prism Data Warehouse, ensuring it integrates data from Workday HCM, external systems, and operational data sources to meet reporting and analytics needsData Modeling: Create and maintain data models that support People Analytics and Store Operations reporting needs, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and scalability across various data setsCollaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with People Analytics, Store Operations, and Digital & Tech teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data warehouse solutionsPerformance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the Prism data warehouse to handle large datasets, ensuring data queries and reports run efficiently and at scaleSecurity and Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and collaborate with team members to manage data security, access controls, and user permissions within the data warehouse. Responsible for handling sensitive and confidential dataReport Development: Support People Analytics and Store Operations with the build and optimization of reports, dashboards, and analytics that utilize data from the Prism data warehouseTroubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for data warehouse issues, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and resolve data integrity issuesContinuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the data warehouse architecture, data pipelines, and reporting capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and business decision-making. Keep up with the latest Workday Prism releases and recommend/implement enhancementsWhat Do You Need To Bring?
3+ years of experience in data warehouse design and developmentExperience with Workday Prism, Workday Report Writer, and other Workday toolsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceWorkday HCM and Prism certification preferredExpertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL developmentProven experience designing and maintaining data warehouses and integrating data from multiple sourcesExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with data science techniques and tools for predictive analytics and machine learning is preferredOur Company

Therefore, in states and cities that require the hourly or salary compensation or pay range to be included in a job posting, the recruiting pay range for this position is $91,000 - $106,000. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your years of experience, your work location, comparison to other employees in similar or related roles, or market demands. The range may be modified in the future.
