Responsibilities Lead the design and development of complex engineering projects, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices, technical skills development, and career growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to define project specifications and requirements.Oversee the implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Perform rigorous testing and validation of engineering designs to identify and rectify potential issues before full-scale production.Manage the documentation process for engineering projects, ensuring all necessary materials are accurately produced and maintained for future reference and compliance.Evaluate and integrate new technologies or methodologies to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness of engineering processes.Represent the engineering department in external forums, such as conferences, workshops, or industry panels, to share insights and learn from peers. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, or other STEM majorsActive Secret clearanceU.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearanceTen years of collective engineering experience in signature measurements, data acquisition, reduction, analysis, and experimentationEight years of collective technical experience in each of the following areas:
o Shipboard or fixed-site signature measurement systems development, sustainment, operations, and upgrades
o Technical analysis experience in support of development and application of ship signature reduction or measurement technology
