The Reliability Engineer establishes processes to minimize equipment failures and enhance performance through the development of reliability & asset integrity plans and preventive tasks. It is required a Reliability Engineer for El Trapial field, operated by Chevron and located in the North of Neuquen Province (conventional & unconventional production). This position will be part of the Surface team and main focus to execute activities in accordance with new reliability strategy.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
+ Responsible for leading the efforts in El Trapial field to execute reliability activities (Conventional & Unconventional) in accordance with new reliability strategy to ensure production equipment function as their designed intent and service lives.
+ Support the implementation of Reliability standards.
+ Responsible for the execution of Reliability Action Plan in the field for new development (criticality assessment, alarm management, preventive tasks identification)
+ Responsible for leading in the field predictive maintenance and condition monitoring projects.
+ Responsible for Bad Actors evaluations and action plan to address gaps to reduce failures and loss production opportunities. Responsible for RCAs (Root Cause Analysis).
+ Active participation in risk management studies and in process safety safeguard verification activities.
+ Act as technical specialist regarding reliability aspects for any requirement or need from the Operations.
+ Support for reliability metric management which includes metric follow up and communication.
+ Responsible for complying with regulatory requirements associated with Reliability.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Engineering degree with technical certifications with at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to identify, define problems and provide solutions to the client through clear and precise communication.
+ Intermediate or Advanced English level
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ O&M experience is highly valued
**Special Considerations:**
+ The operational base is El Trapial Field, Neuquén.
+ Work on a rotational schedule of 7x7.
**Relocation Options:**
Relocation **is not** offered for this role. Only local candidates will be considered.
**International Considerations:**
Expatriate assignments **will not be** considered.
