**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Field Service Mechanic** to join our high performing field service team. The **Gunnedah Basin** mining region is home to over **170 Cummins High Horsepower engines** , powering a range of mining equipment. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + First responder to breakdown events + Fleet maintenance + Capturing engine data + Fault diagnostics + Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor + Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment + Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) + The face of Cummins at the customer site **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Qualifications and Competencies** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light vehicle mechanic or plant mechanic.
