**Introduction** In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. **Your role and responsibilities** We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team, with strong experience in data modeling and advanced SQL skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and solid experience in architectures and creating cloud data pipelines. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain distributed data pipelines using tools such as Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow • Model and manage large volumes of data (Big Data), ensuring performance and scalability • Work with containers and master orchestration solutions, such as Kubernetes • Apply good software development practices: clean code, implementation of tests, version control (Git), and documentation • Participate in the development and maintenance of modern CI/CD processes for automating integrations and deployments **Required technical and professional expertise** • Proven experience in data modeling and advanced knowledge of SQL • Practical experience in Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Previous experience in data architectures and building pipelines in Cloud environments • Solid experience in distributed data processing, using tools like Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow • Established practice in applying good software practices, including clean code, implementation of automated testing, version control, and documentation • Experience in the use of container technology (such as Docker) and container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes • Track record of working with processing and analyzing large volumes of data (Big Data) • Experience in environments that adopt modern continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Terraform Dataform * Experiência com dashboards no Looker ou Looker Studio * JavaScript IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
