The Engagement Specialist is responsible for the organization and execution of both internal and external events, projects, and initiatives with the rest of the Engagement team. The ability to plan, delegate, and execute events and projects are key. This role also manages all questions from outside vendors and team members regarding upcoming initiatives, job shadowing, Uzone help and related questions on the team. The Engagement Specialist is the go-to leader on the team, utilizes all resources and ensures work is credible, accurate, timely, and simplified when communicating verbally or in written form.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGCreating, developing, and organizing Engagement Initiatives
Communicating with team members regarding Engagement Team activities and processes
Answering questions and addressing issues from leaders/team members related to Engagement Team
Managing positive relationships between internal and external clients
Working with the teams to improve communication and promote collaboration
Completing assigned tasks regarding upcoming events
Creating and managing tasks, and projects
Creating, developing, and posting unique and engaging content for UZONE (Our internal social platform)
Reviewing and implementing team member feedback given for future events
Performing other related duties as assigned by VP of engagement
Assisting in hosting events
Maintaining all reporting and stats
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUMust Have Qualifications
1-2 Years of events, project management, or related experience
Highest level of attention to detail
Proactive due diligence to ensure all work is quality, credible, and accurate
Strong communication and presentation skills
A time savvy attitude regarding getting to work, meetings, and completing tasks
Proactive in finding solutions in ambiguous scenarios for themselves and the team
Computer savvy in terms of technical editing abilities and confident in MS Office
A positive outlook and a friendly, upbeat attitude, daily
Capability to adapt to change quickly and able to turn a negative into a positive
Ability to leave every team member with a good feeling about you when you interact with them
Has a team player mentality and genuinely wants to assist others
