Role Summary As an Engagement Specialist, based at our East Coast HQ in Atlanta, you're the living embodiment of our brand. You'll foster the deep connection between our electric adventure vehicles and our passionate community across the region, executing intuitive, innovative, and memorable moments that resonate with the spirit of exploration and sustainability. This role sits at the intersection of sales, elevated hospitality, and brand advocacy, requiring an individual with a profound passion for people, education, adventure, and the end-to-end Rivian customer journey. We're looking for dynamic individuals who can anticipate the unique needs of an adventurous customer base, navigate complex situations with agile problem-solving, and consistently exceed expectations with a customer-first approach. Responsibilities Deliver an exceptional customer experience: Greet and assist all external vendors, partners, employees, and guests, ensuring a positive and professional experience that reflects our brand values and hospitality standards. Support facility operations: Work with the manager to maintain the readiness, presentation, and performance of the space and related facilities, ensuring alignment with brand standards. Facilitate events and activations: Assist with local event logistics, product staging of vehicles, displays, pop-ups, and activations to deliver immersive brand experiences. Drive community and sales efforts: Partner with marketing and sales teams to launch demand generation campaigns, including test drives and product showcases. You'll utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to track customer interactions and manage lead pipelines. Maintain inventory and sales: Facilitate merchandise sales, maintain accurate inventory records, and execute timely restocks to ensure optimal product availability and presentation. Act as a subject matter expert: Serve as a knowledgeable resource on our vehicles, technology platforms, and manufacturing strategies for customers. Collaborate with the team: Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to coordinate use of space and support initiatives that improve operational workflows and customer experience strategies. Uphold brand values: Represent our mission and sustainability values in all public-facing interactions, embodying the spirit of adventure and environmental responsibility. Qualifications Preferred 3+ years of progressive customer-facing experience. Ideal candidates will have a background in high-volume sales, experiential education, or upscale hospitality, particularly within the automotive, technology, or outdoor adventure industries. This role is based at our East Coast HQ in Atlanta, GA. You'll need the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to travel as required for market launches, events, and operational support. Experience succeeding in a face-paced, dynamic start up environment with continuous iteration and changes Advanced proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and POS platforms, with a proven ability to leverage data for data-driven decision-making and enhanced customer engagement. Strong communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal) Ability to work a flexible schedule to support customers on nights, weekends and/or holidays Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support events, new market launches, etc. Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently Maintain a positive, upbeat and can-do attitude at all time A strong passion for electric vehicles, sustainable living, and outdoor adventure, aligning with Rivian's core mission and values, coupled with the ability to comfortably operate and conduct demonstrations of large, high-performance electric vehicles. Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Atlanta Based Applicants: $24.63 - $30.79 per hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law). Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
