We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Engagement Manager with deep expertise in the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors and a strong background in data science and analytics. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business and technical teams, drive value through data-driven insights, and manage large-scale analytical solution delivery across retail and CPG use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to lead data science and analytics-driven initiatives in Retail and CPG domains.
• Translate complex business challenges, such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, customer segmentation, and pricing strategy—into technical requirements and scalable solutions.
• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery of data-centric solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to build and deploy predictive models, dashboards, and automated insights.
• Drive data governance, solution architecture discussions, and compliance with security and privacy standards.
• Facilitate client workshops, solution presentations, and executive-level reporting.
• Identify growth opportunities by proposing innovative use cases for advanced analytics and AI/ML in retail and CPG.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and build long-term relationships through consistent delivery and business value demonstration.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 12+ years of total experience in IT, consulting, or data-driven business roles.
• Minimum 6 years of domain experience in Retail and/or CPG industries.
• Strong understanding of data science and machine learning concepts in project delivery.
• Familiarity with tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) will be a plus.
• Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and data lakes will be a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience with executive-level reporting.
• Certifications in cloud platforms, project management, or data analytics (e.g., PMP, GCP Data Engineer, Azure AI Fundamentals) are a plus.
