You will help build, innovate, and evolve customers' performance and security strategies. As an Engagement Manager II - Government Services, you will be responsible for: + Establishing key strategic relationships, building and maintaining a project pipeline and delivering customer targets effectively + Partnering with pre-sales to educate customers on Akamai services and solutions + Maximizing customer satisfaction, retention, and growth based on the customer's needs and business requirements + Being the central point of contact for the customer and cross-functional teams + Owning program management and being a trusted advisor, ensuring customers get maximum value out of Akamai solutions **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Have 5yrs of experience and U.S. CITIZENSHIP due to legal requirements of our customer base + Demonstrate an understanding of consulting process to identify the best solutions and ensure customer success + Show experience managing and delivering technical customer projects successfully + Demonstrate understanding of network technologies, web performance, web security, methodologies or architectures + Be a natural communicator with an ability to build trusting relationships and ensuring customer success + Be a team player with an ability to work independently and as part of a remote team + Possess an excellent technical aptitude and a desire to constantly learn new technologies **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world. The base salary for this position ranges from $101,400 - $210,600/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
