Position Overview:
The Engagement Manager will play a vital role in leading and managing consulting and analytics engagements and teams. Expertise in Python plus SQL & advanced analytics/Statistics Techniques such as general linear model etc He/she will maintain and develop client relationships as required. He/she will manage analysts and prioritize objectives in order to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction and targeted financial results. He/ She will be responsible for build and manage client relationships by working closely with account managers of our clients. This will be measured against the revenue growth from the account.
Responsibilities:
Manage and nourish key client stakeholder relationships and be a true strategic partner to your clients.
Work collaboratively with client marketing managers, product managers, performance marketing, data science, and researchers to design, influence, execute, measure and improve marketing initiatives and product experience.
Develop quantitative analyses, ad hoc reports, and models to support marketing decision-making. Analysis areas might include (but not limited to) consumer segmentation, adoption, lifecycle, retention, lifetime value, usage, engagement, and return on investment.
Translate data insights into recommendations that will drive brand sentiment, user growth and engagement, and enhanced marketing effectiveness.
Explain sophisticated modeling approaches in simple terms and develop compelling narratives that connect data analysis with business problems.
Design and implement reporting dashboards that track performance trends and provide measurable insights to executive leadership.
Use scientific methods to establish causal relationships between marketing actions and consumer behavior and sentiment.
Champion technical solutions to make the work of the decision science team more effective and scalable.
Produce presentations, charts, and executive summaries that clearly communicate findings to internal partners.
Mine data and analytics at the customer level to gain a better understanding of their usage behaviors, including impacts of current marketing strategies.
Develop dashboards that provide reliable insights and visualization into country and channel performance relative to critical metrics, projections, and historical performance.
Implement and analyze A/B or Multivariate Tests to provide measurable insights on test data.
Present findings to management to drive business and marketing decisions.
Work closely with the analytics delivery team onshore and offshore to drive overall insights and execution of solutions delivered to our clients.
Manage short term and long-term delivery of projects with key stakeholders and navigate through the client organization to deliver the program seamlessly
Generate ideas with the product team internally to develop new IP or products that can help us scale as a company
Excellent project management demonstrated by ability to organize work streams, estimate and deliver on timelines. Anticipate dependencies, delay in delivery and takes appropriate steps to prevent them (including laying out of process and ensuring its compliance)
High Net promoter score for all project and program deliveries
Contribute to development of IP or products for Fractal solutions
P&L responsibility for key accounts / clients
Ability to drive fast paced growth and sales (via presentations, sales pitch decks etc.)
Key Skills/Competencies/Education”
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
10-14 years of experience in analytics and business consulting with an emphasis in the Analytics with at least 3+ years of leadership experience
Excellent track record of engaging at C-suite level and excellent at stakeholder management and is able to drive groups, including senior level groups, to conclusions
Is able to design and review new solution concepts and has led the delivery of high impact analytics solutions and programs for global clients.
Knowledge of variety and advanced analytics and machine learning techniques, such as marketing mix models, price/promotion models, SEM, segmentation, and forecasting. Should be able to evaluate and bring in new advanced techniques to enhance the value-add for clients
Should be able to apply domain and analytics knowledge to functional areas like market size estimation, business growth strategy, strategic revenue management, marketing effectiveness, shopper category management, sales, and operations planning, merchandising, store operations
Must have excellent project/program management skills and have experience managing multiple work streams and projects at one time
Have business acumen to manage revenues profitably and meet financial goals consistently. Able to quantify business value for clients and create win-win commercial propositions.
Good thought leadership & ability to structure & solve business problems, innovating, where required
Outstanding presentation and communication skills (Oral and written) with the ability to inspire others to make informed decisions.
Must have the ability to adapt to changing business priorities in a fast-paced business environment.

Solve business problems & develop a business solution: Use problem-solving methodologies to propose creative solutions to solve a business problem. Recommend design and develop state-of-the-art data-driven analysis using statistical & advanced analytics methodologies to solve business problems. Develop models & recommend insights. Form hypothesis and run experiments to gain empirical insights and validate the hypothesis. Identify and eliminate possible obstacles and identify an alternative creative solution.
Project management: Lead at least one client engagement independently. Execute end to end client engagements. Ensure regular client updates & meetings, stakeholder management, any failure or risk analysis of the project, data sources, tracking execution & success metrics is done effectively & efficiently.
Client relationship management: Build deep client relationship, network & be a thought partner. Anticipate business problems & deliver par excellence.
Sales Support & account growth: Actively focus on opportunities to grow the client along with the senior engagement manager. Support the sales team as required for RFPs and regular sales pitches
Firm building: Contribute to firm growth by participating and conducting training sessions.
Coaching & grooming: Coach & groom the team on gaining knowledge & skills on first principles of analytics techniques, problem-solving, project management, client relationship management.
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $145,000 - $180,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
