Description We are looking for a dynamic Engagement Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is perfect for individuals seeking short-term work or those eager to gain experience in nonprofit and event coordination. As part of the social care/services industry, you will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for volunteers. Responsibilities: • Welcome and check in volunteers upon their arrival, ensuring a smooth registration process. • Provide on-site assistance by addressing questions and concerns from both individuals and groups. • Actively monitor and walk between volunteer areas to offer support and ensure operations run seamlessly. • Foster a positive and engaging environment for all volunteers throughout their experience. • Collaborate with team members to address any logistical challenges that may arise during events. Requirements • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to assist diverse groups of people. • A friendly, approachable, and dependable personality. • Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and walking frequently. • Strong customer service skills, including phone etiquette and email communication. • Ability to effectively assist guests and address client inquiries with attention to detail.
