Job Description

Lead the strategy powering North America's energy transition. As Strategic Officer, you will design and drive initiatives that connect capital with opportunity in a rapidly changing energy environment.

You and Your Job

As a Energy Transition, Strategic Officer, North America you will be successful in identifying and developing key strategic markets in the energy sector, as well as managing internal strategy and key stakeholders.

The ET Strategic Officer, NA is responsible to develop and initiate new propositions and solutions that could lead to additional financing volume as well as various partnerships with energy-related business partners to enable potential growth. The ET Strategic Officer will have to:

Initiate and develop new propositions and client solutions within the Energy Transition

Further assist in steering the NA Energy Transition business strategy including but not limited to enhanced plans, deliverables and milestones

Represent Rabobank in energy transition networks in consultation with the ET coverage and product bankers

Job Responsibilities

Be the ambassador of the Energy transition in Rabobank

Vision Rabobank energy transition in place

Clear contribution to knowledge sharing and updating stakeholders on developments in the market initiating and supporting growth opportunities for Rabobank

Clear strategic view on developments in the Wholesale energy market and contribution to ET strategy

Delivery of memos or presentations to senior management and project boards

Adherence to compliance regulations

To be considered for the Energy Transition, Strategic Officer, North America role, you must have:

Bachelor's degree

10+ years of relevant experience

Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders in a political environment, from tactical to executive level within the organization

Experience in dealing with external bodies, suppliers and contract management

Experience in set up a new business line/Team in a multi-project and multi-program environment

Experience in Wholesale Strong English Language skills Excellent communication

Knowledge of Energy sectors Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements related to the ET domain in North America

Strong analytical and project management skills Experience in managing professionals

Knowledge of the Rabobank organization, specifically in Rabobank Wholesale

Proven track record in program methods at strategic, tactical and operational level in Wholesale.

Demonstrable power to change: drive to want to change and to inspire others to do so

Demonstrate strong in communication, coaching and collaboration skills

Knowledge of HR and banking processes and administrative organization Knowledge of socio-economic, legal, fiscal and banking developments

Ability to travel regionally and globally, up to 50%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $190,000.00 - $340,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
