Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Energy Technician to conduct detailed audits and assessments for customers, identify potential conservation measures, savings potential, and recommend energy-efficient technologies. The role involves educating customers on energy efficiency measures, performing diagnostic testing, installing program measures, managing supplied inventory, and company-issued equipment while maintaining the integrity of customer property.
ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed audits and assessments for customers as per program contract.Identify potential conservation measures and recommend energy-efficient technologies.Provide education sessions and recommendations on energy efficiency measures.Perform diagnostic testing and install program measures.Manage supplied inventory materials and company-issued equipment.Ensure customer property is respected and spaces are left in the same or better condition.Communicate customer service issues to the supervisor in real-time.Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.Essential Skills1+ year experience in a service technician position.Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical applications.Mechanical aptitude.Customer service skills.Valid driver's license.Additional Skills & QualificationsReliable transportation.Field service experience.Attendance is important.Work Environment
The position requires traveling to different project sites throughout Connecticut, working with one lead at each site. Occasionally, you will attend team meetings at the office, but most of the role involves traveling. This opportunity allows you to grow within the organization and potentially move into lead roles. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
