This position is a part of our Aptiv’s Electronic Distribution Systems business unit for a position in its Alternative Energy Markets. This position will be located in Troy, MI.

Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities):

RFQ processing according to the internal processesCoordinate build activities/schedule and materials for the initial proto-types built in the proto-type laboratoryCoordination of all the activities related to technical feasibility and cost evaluation according to the customer requirementsAlignment with specialized internal functions and departments in NA, China and EuropePreparation of specific internal documentsDefinition of processes, material, technological solutions in close collaboration with internal departmentsCost calculation and lifetime cycle cost and turnover calculation for production partsCost calculation for tooling , prototypes, engineering servicesSet up of a comprehensive competitive proposal for the customerTechnical alignment with customer, internal department, supplierPrepare submission of technical and end commercial offer to OEM thru nomination in close collaboration and transition with the key account manager

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)2+ years' experience in automotive and/or wiring system roles1+ years' experience in a team environment

Nice to Haves:

1+ years' experience in energy wiring products (solar, energy storage) Excellent Communication skills – written and verbalMulti-tasking team player with a hands-on approachExposure to manufacturing environment
