As a Client Technology Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge enterprise end-user technology solutions that elevate business productivity and operational effectiveness in alignment with organizational needs. Your direct involvement in comprehensive projects such as patch management, endpoint security, imaging, scripting, and software deployment will play a pivotal role in enhancing the client technology landscape.

 

What We Offer:

Salary: Competitive range of $95,000 - $105,000 per year.  This range reflects the budgeted compensation for this role.  The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and location. Support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune, SCCM, JAMF).Security: Implement and support device security standards, patch management, encryption, and antivirus tools. Partner with IT security to ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.Maintain and Optimize End-User Computing EnvironmentStability and Reliability: Ensure a stable, reliable, and scalable global end-user computing environment with strong performance, maintainability, and recoverability.Troubleshooting: Address complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions that ensure timely resolution in adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Documentation: Maintain documentation for incidents and problems while implementing preventative measures to minimize recurrence. Develop and maintain automation scripts for device provisioning, software deployment, and configuration (e.g., PowerShell).Continuous Improvement and CollaborationEvaluation and Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve client technology infrastructure to enhance user experience, performance, and reliability.Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement and asset management teams to define hardware standards, manage device lifecycle, inventory, and license tracking.Knowledge Sharing: Document procedures, technical standards, and knowledge base articles for support teams and end users. Stay informed on emerging technologies, evaluate their relevance, and incorporate new solutions to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and improve organizational effectiveness.

 

Qualifications High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of nine (7) years of experience in client technology or endpoint engineering roles - or - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and five (3) years of experience in client technology or endpoint engineering roles (required)Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and macOS platformsExperience with client management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, JAMF, Autopilot)

Technical Expertise and ProficiencyAdvanced Knowledge: Imaging, patch management, endpoint management/protection, scripting/automation, and software packaging technologies and processes.Operating Systems: In-depth understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems.Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or other automation tools.Endpoint Management Tools: Strong knowledge of SCCM, Intune, and JAMF.Virtualization Platforms: Strong knowledge of Citrix, VMWare, and other virtualization platforms.Troubleshooting and SupportAdvanced Troubleshooting: Advanced level troubleshooting skills, including Tier 3 support and root cause analysis of the desktop environment.Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra, Microsoft Server platforms, and networking technology and concepts.ITIL Practices: Working knowledge of ITIL practices and service desk environments.Identity and Access Management: Familiarity with concepts like Azure AD, SSO, and MFA.Communication and CollaborationCommunication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to provide technical consultations and presentations as needed.Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Proven ability to use good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Collaboration: Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are worked simultaneously.Confidentiality and Discretion: Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.Adaptability: Ability to gain, understand, and apply information and data as it relates to the essential functions of the position.
