The Endoscopy Technician is an instrumental member of the medical team that utilizes an array of endoscopes in addition to diagnostic and interventional equipment that requires advanced technical skills and knowledge in all Endoscopy and ERCP Procedure Suites. The endoscopy technician handles specimens collected and is responsible for high level disinfection of equipment.

Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ CPR certification required
+ Experience with patient care in hospital setting, basic ECG.
+ Must have a knowledge of basic medical terminology and strong communication skills.
Preferred
+ Prior endoscopy or gastrointestinal disorders knowledge
+ CNA, MA, EMT, or Surgical Technician. CRCST, Endoscopic Technician Certificate
+ Demonstrate a thorough understanding of decontamination and high level disinfectant process
