Processing Tech - Endoscopy

Full-time, 7:00a - 3:30p (5 days a week/4 days a week)

Job Description:

The Processing Tech is responsible for the care of the endoscopic scopes, which includes cleaning, disinfecting and leak testing. Technicians must know how to operate mechanical equipment used in processing areas including washers and leak tester; must document and follow-up on damaged equipment and notify Charge RN and/or Manager when equipment is sent out for repair.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required, or higher.

Good clinical, organizational, communication, customer service and critical thinking skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

A graduate of CSS program, one year on the job training or Endoscopy knowledge preferred.
